Salon Coordinator & Beauty Advisor at VaZa Salon

VaZa Salon is looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Salon Coordinator & Beauty Advisor to join our team.

We're especially interested in someone with retail and customer service experience who is comfortable helping customers, recommending products, handling transactions, and working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with scheduling, appointments, or front desk responsibilities is a big plus.

This is more than answering phones. You'll be the face of our salon and play an important role in keeping the day organized, supporting our team, and creating an exceptional experience for every guest.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service
• Manage appointments, confirmations, phone calls, and scheduling
• Help coordinate the daily flow of the salon
• Recommend professional haircare products based on guests' needs
• Process retail sales and point-of-sale transactions
• Enter invoices and assist with inventory
• Restock and maintain retail displays
• Keep the front desk and reception area organized and professional
• Handle guest questions and concerns
• Communicate with stylists and help keep the day running smoothly
• Take initiative and recognize what needs to be done

What We're Looking For

• Retail and customer service experience preferred
• Experience with scheduling, reception, or appointment-based businesses is a plus
• Comfortable recommending and selling products
• Strong communication and people skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment
• Reliable and professional
• Confident using technology and learning new systems
• A problem-solver who takes initiative

• Interested in a long-term position and professional growth

Beauty retail experience is a plus, but not required. If you've worked in beauty, fashion, specialty retail, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Schedule

Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

This is a long-term, year-round position. College students are welcome to apply if they can commit to the schedule and year-round employment.
