We're looking for our next Rising Star — a cosmetology graduate with a passion for hair, a strong sense of personal style, an engaging personality, and the ambition to build a successful career in the salon industry.

The Rising Star Experience

Our Rising Star program is designed to bridge the gap between cosmetology school and a successful career behind the chair. You'll work alongside accomplished Artists and Senior Artistic Directors who are invested in your development, gaining hands-on experience, professional confidence, and the technical skills needed to succeed.

Through structured mentorship, practical education, and ongoing feedback, you'll develop the skills and professional habits that will serve you throughout your career.

This isn't simply an apprenticeship. It's an opportunity to become part of a team that believes in developing people, celebrating individuality, and helping one another succeed.

What You'll Do

• Assist experienced Artists with salon services, preparation, and daily operations.
• Participate in hands-on education, structured mentorship, and technical development.
• Continue developing your skills in cutting, color, styling, consultations, and guest experience.
• Work with supervised models as your skills and confidence develop, consistent with licensing requirements.
• Build meaningful relationships with guests through genuine conversation and exceptional hospitality.
• Learn professional salon standards, time management, organization, and service excellence.
• Participate in regular development reviews, self-evaluations, and goal setting.
• Maintain THE LOFT's standards for appearance, professionalism, cleanliness, and guest care.
• Support your fellow Artists and contribute to a positive, collaborative salon environment.
