Nail Technician
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Nail Technician to lead our beauty team and deliver exceptional nail care services. In this role, you will complete daily operations, ensure the highest standards of sanitation and customer service, and provide outstanding nail treatments. Your expertise in nail care, esthetic treatments, and retail sales will drive both customer satisfaction and business growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated tech to combine technical skills in a vibrant, client-focused environment.Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art, ensuring high-quality results
- Deliver exceptional customer service by actively engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing personalized recommendations
- Uphold strict sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Promote retail sales by upselling nail care products, color treatments, and related beauty items to enhance client experience and increase revenue
- Train and mentor team members in technical skills including nail care techniques, color theory application, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion procedures, and barbering basics
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones through excellent service delivery and relationship building
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a professional Nail Technician with strong skills in manicure/pedicure services and advanced nail techniques
- Knowledge of color theory to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client's style
- Familiarity with sanitation protocols specific to nail salons to maintain a hygienic workspace
- Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing required; additional training in eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or laser treatments is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Strong retail math abilities for upselling products confidently and accurately
- Leadership qualities with previous experience managing a team or supervising staff in a beauty or retail environment
