Responsibilities

• Perform professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail applications, and nail extensions with precision and artistry
• Apply color theory principles to create customized nail designs that match client preferences and current trends
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience
• Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare to promote healthy nails
• Upsell retail products related to nail care and beauty treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Stay updated on the latest industry techniques including dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, hair styling, body waxing, hair threading, and hair extensions to offer comprehensive beauty services

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology or related fields
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, and nail extensions
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client communication best practices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse clients
• Knowledge of color theory and design principles for creating appealing nail art
• Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a professional demeanor
