Nail Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform professional manicure, pedicure, gel polish applications, acrylic nail applications, and nail extensions with precision and artistry
• Consult with clients to understand their nail care needs and recommend suitable treatments and styles
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and proper sterilization of tools and workstations
• Educate clients on nail care routines, products, and aftercare to promote healthy nails
• Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty enhancements to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive experience and build lasting relationships
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, color theory, and industry techniques to continuously improve skills

Requirements

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role
• Knowledge of salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures
• Proficiency in performing gel manicures, acrylic nails, nail extensions, pedicures, and other nail treatments
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on client consultation and customer service excellence
• Basic understanding of color theory for creating appealing nail designs
• Ability to perform additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or hair styling is a plus but not required
• Cosmetology or esthetician license or certification as required by local regulations
• Experience with retail sales techniques and upselling strategies to maximize client satisfaction and revenue
