A lymphatic certification is a plus, as it enhances the ability to offer specialized therapies that support lymphatic health and post-op support.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including relaxation, therapeutic, and specialized techniques.
• Perform lymphatic massage therapy including post-op.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Consult with clients to understand their health concerns and preferences to customize treatments effectively.
• Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and certifications.
• Promote wellness services offered by the facility and educate clients on self-care practices when appropriate.
• Adhere to all licensing requirements and professional standards for massage therapy practice.
• Assist in maintaining a positive atmosphere that fosters client trust and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Valid CT state licensure as a Massage Therapist.
• Proven experience providing massage therapy services in a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of various massage techniques and client care protocols.
• Certification or training in lymphatic drainage therapy is highly desirable; a lymphatic certification is considered a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and respond empathetically.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in client care.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings or weekends if required.
