Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, pain points, and treatment goals
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment procedures, gather feedback, and adjust therapies accordingly
• Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols
• Stay current with industry trends and expand your skill set through ongoing professional development in areas like physiology knowledge and medical terminology

Requirements

• Valid massage therapy license or certification recognized by local regulatory bodies
• Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate effectively
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed
