We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist and/or Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patients' needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and utilizing various techniques to promote relaxation and alleviate pain.Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
- Utilize techniques and pain management strategies to address acute and chronic conditions as well as promote overall wellness.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to sanitizing techniques and industry standards.
- Provide excellent patient service, ensuring clients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment.
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in patient conditions using appropriate medical terminology.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in acupuncture and massage therapy practices and physiology knowledge.
Qualifications
- Valid acupuncture and/or massage therapy license or certification from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and acute pain management strategies.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and patient assessment protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service.
- Ability to perform various acupuncture and massage techniques while maintaining professionalism and empathy in all interactions.
