Licensed Massage Therapist

In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and Lymphatic Drainage.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate therapy plans and monitor progress over time.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance results.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client feedback, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures, and ensure a comfortable experience.
• Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to provide high-quality care.
• Uphold all safety standards by maintaining a clean, sanitized workspace.

Skills

• Proven experience in massage therapy with specialization in Swedish massage and deep tissue.
• Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively.
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and communicate clearly.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management.
• Ability to perform patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans based on client feedback and health history.
• Experience working in med spa environments or similar settings is highly desirable.
• Certification in CPR is required; ongoing professional development is encouraged to stay current with industry standards.
