Massage Therapist at WHEELHOUSE

WHEELHOUSE Center for Health & Wellbeing is a premiere integrative health center offering personalized health and wellness services within a collaborative team model of care. Our practitioners work across disciplines including internal medicine, nutrition, massage therapy, and mental health and behavior management support to help clients achieve lasting physical and emotional wellbeing.

We are currently seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our team as a part-time contracted massage therapist. This is a unique opportunity for a practitioner who is both skilled and enthusiastic, with the desire to grow their client base within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional therapeutic massage services tailored to individual client goals and conditions
• Collaborate with WHEELHOUSE practitioners to coordinate care and support client progress
• Maintain accurate and professional session notes for continuity of care
• Support client education and empowerment through body awareness and ongoing wellness practices
• Participate in occasional events, workshops, or community activities hosted by WHEELHOUSE

Qualifications

• Connecticut massage therapy license (current and in good standing)
• Minimum three years of professional experience
• Active professional liability insurance
• Commitment to building and maintaining a private practice as part of the WHEELHOUSE team
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Structure & Compensation

This is a part-time (1-2 half days per week with room to grow), contracted position (paid by the session rendered) with flexible scheduling. Compensation is commensurate with experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
