Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massages tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge and client health history
• Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health tips, and self-care practices to enhance their wellness journey
• Maintain detailed treatment records, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures performed and client progress
• Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming, comfortable environment and addressing client concerns with professionalism
• Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and spa services
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including CPR certification and adherence to health regulations

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage practices
• Experience or familiarity with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques is preferred but not required — new grads are welcome!
• Strong commitment to patient service with excellent communication skills and a caring attitude
• Ability to perform massage therapy procedures safely while maintaining professional boundaries
• CPR certification is required or must be obtained upon hire
• Prior experience in med spa settings or occupational health environments is a plus but not mandatory
