Licensed Esthetician

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and client-focused Licensed Esthetician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves combining results-driven treatments with a warm, luxurious client experience.

As an esthetician, you will perform customized facial treatments, educate clients on home care, recommend retail products that support their goals, and help build long-term client relationships based on trust and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Client Care

• Perform thorough skin consultations and analyze each client's skin concerns and goals.

• Develop personalized treatment plans and home care recommendations.

• Deliver exceptional client experiences from consultation through follow-up.

• Maintain accurate treatment notes using our booking software.

• Educate clients on skin health, ingredients, and preventative skincare.

• Build lasting relationships that encourage long-term skin health and client retention.

Treatment Services

Perform professional facial and wellness treatments including:

• Customized Organic Facials

• Dermaplaning

• Nano Infusion

• Radio Frequency Skin Tightening

• Microcurrent Facial Treatments

• Buccal Facial Massage

• LED Light Therapy

• High Frequency Treatments

• Enzyme Treatments

• Chemical Exfoliation (within license scope)

• Facial Massage and Lymphatic Techniques

• Scalp & Wellness Treatments (if trained)

Retail & Client Education

• Recommend professional skincare products that align with each client's treatment goals.

• Educate clients on proper home care routines.

• Meet retail performance goals through education rather than sales pressure.

• Encourage consistent treatment plans and wellness memberships.

Spa Operations

• Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment.

• Follow all sanitation and infection-control procedures.

• Sterilize equipment according to New York State regulations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace.

• Assist with laundry, inventory, stocking, and daily spa operations.

• Participate in team meetings and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Esthetics License

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience preferred

• Excellent knowledge of skin physiology and ingredient science

• Strong consultation and communication skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Passion for holistic skincare and wellness

• Dependable, organized, and team-oriented

• Comfortable working evenings and weekends

Experience with:

• Dermaplaning Certification
