Licensed Esthetician at Ställe Studios

Ställe Studios is a facial studio in SoHo founded by esthetician Elizabeth Grace Hand. Our approach combines hands-on techniques, carefully selected skincare and technology with a philosophy of consistency over intensity. Thoughtful treatments, lasting client relationships and attention to detail are at the heart of everything we do.

We are seeking a licensed esthetician who shares our approach to skin and understands that exceptional care extends beyond the treatment room. The ideal candidate is warm, knowledgeable, detail-oriented and eager to continue learning within a small, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Perform personalized facials with care, precision and consistency, following Ställe's treatment protocols.
• Conduct thorough consultations to understand each client's skin, routine, concerns and goals.
• Develop thoughtful treatment plans and recommend home care that supports long-term skin health.
• Maintain detailed client notes, including treatments performed, products used and recommendations.
• Follow up with clients after treatments and build lasting relationships through attentive, personalized communication.
• Support client retention through rebooking, ongoing treatment planning and outreach.
• Recommend products and enhancements based on each client's needs.
• Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, fully stocked and ready for each appointment.
• Participate in ongoing training and develop a strong understanding of our treatments and product assortment.
• Contribute to studio content and client outreach in keeping with Ställe's voice and aesthetic.
• Assist with daily studio responsibilities, including room turnover, laundry, retail presentation and administrative support.
• Use time between appointments proactively to support clients, the team and the studio.

Experience & Qualifications

• Active New York State esthetics license.
• A thoughtful approach to treatment selection and an understanding of when to adjust or defer a service.
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to make clients feel comfortable and cared for.
• Confidence recommending skincare and building a loyal clientele.
• Strong standards of sanitation, organization and professional presentation.
• Reliability, initiative and attention to the small details that shape a client's experience.
• Openness to feedback, continued education and learning Ställe's approach.
• A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to all aspects of a boutique studio.
• Weekend availability.
