Responsibilities

• Deliver expert barbering services such as haircuts, beard trims, straight razor shaves, and grooming consultations with precision and style.
• Provide professional hair styling, hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, and nail care services to enhance client satisfaction.
• Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon policies.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing wait times, and upselling retail products like hair care and makeup items.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, makeup application, retail sales strategies, and customer service excellence.
• Support store management tasks such as inventory control, retail math calculations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority.
• Proven experience in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves, hair extensions, and grooming styles.
• Strong knowledge of color theory for hairstyling and hair coloring services.
• Familiarity with salon software platforms like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and team members effectively.
• Ability to perform sanitation procedures meticulously to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Experience in retail sales techniques such as upselling products related to hair care, makeup, nail care, and retail math proficiency.
• Knowledge of advanced styling techniques including eyelash extensions and hair threading is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues while maintaining high standards of customer service.
