Responsibilities

Deliver expert barbering services such as haircuts, beard trims, straight razor shaves, and grooming consultations with precision and style.
Provide professional hair styling, hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, and nail care services to enhance client satisfaction.
Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon policies.
Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing wait times, and upselling retail products like hair care and makeup items.
Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, makeup application, retail sales strategies, and customer service excellence.
Support store management tasks such as inventory control, retail math calculations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients.

Requirements

Valid cosmetology or barbering license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority.
Proven experience in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves, hair extensions, and grooming styles.
Strong knowledge of color theory for hairstyling and hair coloring services.
Familiarity with salon software platforms like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and team members effectively.
Ability to perform sanitation procedures meticulously to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Experience in retail sales techniques such as upselling products related to hair care, makeup, nail care, and retail math proficiency.
Knowledge of advanced styling techniques including eyelash extensions and hair threading is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues while maintaining high standards of customer service.
