Job Description
Job SummaryThe Laser and Body Contouring Specialist ideally has experience in Laser Hair Removal, IPL, 1064, 1540 and 2940 wavelengths, CoolSculpting, Cooltone, Sofwave and RF Microneedling for face and body. They must possess a thorough knowledge of the body and face, all skin types, as well as other skin conditions. They must possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in our spa's specific body contouring and laser treatment offerings. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and beauty solutions to meet the needs of our patients. They must be able to complete pre and post EHR notes for each treatment, and they must hold and maintain a current state license.
Duties
- Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment, and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service
- Have knowledge of all spa treatments in order to provide a comprehensive consultation
- Provide consistent professional medical treatments, facial and body treatments in accordance with office protocols and accepted certification practices
- Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the practice
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products, while educating and training patients in these areas so they are aware of all our services offered
- Actively promote home skin care regimens and document all medical information using appropriate forms and clinical notes in the software system
- Meet service sales goals, monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Suggest and sell appropriate skin care protocols for all clients
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures
- Perform prep work and properly clean and restock room as required
- Actively promote all treatments, services, sessions, and retail; as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
- Handle patients' questions and concerns professionally and courteously
- Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by patients, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
- Possess ability to work without direct supervision
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
- Regularly attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings for the medical spa
- Assist in all areas of business operation as requested by management
- Attend all scheduled trainings, in-services, and CE's in and out of house
- Abide by facility established pricing guides and minimums. Discuss any deviation with management in advance

Education and Experience Requirements
- Must hold and maintain a current State license
- Minimum of 3-5 years in an aesthetic, dermatology, or plastic surgery practice
