Independent Hair Stylist / Chair Rental

Amazing opportunity to make your own schedule and be your own boss.

We are a newly renovated, modern salon looking to add to our team. We are a Davines sustainable salon and have partnered with Green Circle Salons to help reduce even more waste.

Applicants must have a Cosmetology Type 1 license in the state of Massachusetts and have a minimum of 2 years experience behind the chair. Walk-in clients are distributed on a rotated schedule to all stylists.

Chair Rental Includes:

• 2 weeks rent free per year
• Coffee, tea and water for you and your clients
• Backbar shampoo
• Towels
• Weekly cleaning

Duties

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
• Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques to offer innovative styles and services.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles or treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and salon area.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Previous front desk or customer service experience is beneficial for managing client interactions effectively.

Requirements
