• Maintain knowledge of color theory to provide clients with the best options for their hair color needs.
• Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments using salon software such as MINDBODY.
• Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs and offering professional advice on hair care products and services.
• Engage in retail sales by promoting salon products to clients, utilizing upselling techniques effectively.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment, ensuring all sanitation protocols are followed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products through continuous education.

Skills

• Proficient in hair styling techniques including hair threading, eyelash extensions, and nail care.
• Strong understanding of cosmetology principles and barbering skills.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage store operations efficiently, including retail math for sales tracking.
• Experience with salon software systems like MINDBODY is preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on creating positive client experiences.
