We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair care services, including cutting, coloring, and styling, while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our clients. Your expertise in various techniques and your ability to connect with customers will help create a memorable experience that keeps them coming back.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions.
• Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts and styles.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with salon regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations.
• Use salon software such as Phorest for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing retail sales.
• Educate clients on hair care products and techniques to promote upselling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques including hair threading and straight razor use.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability in customer service with a focus on creating positive client experiences.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices within the salon environment.
• Previous experience in store management or retail sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
