We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair care services, including cutting, coloring, and styling, while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our clients. Your expertise in various techniques and your ability to connect with customers will help create a memorable experience that keeps them coming back.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions.
Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts and styles.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with salon regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations.
Use salon software such as Phorest for appointment scheduling and client management.
Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing retail sales.
Educate clients on hair care products and techniques to promote upselling opportunities.

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques including hair threading and straight razor use.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Demonstrated ability in customer service with a focus on creating positive client experiences.
Knowledge of sanitation practices within the salon environment.
Previous experience in store management or retail sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
