Duties

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Maintain knowledge of color theory and application techniques to achieve desired results for clients.
• Perform hair threading and nail care services as needed, ensuring client satisfaction with every visit.
• Adhere to sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with front desk operations, including greeting clients, answering phones, and managing retail sales.
• Upsell products and services to enhance client experiences and salon revenue.
• Mentor junior stylists by sharing expertise in techniques such as straight razor cutting and makeup application.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively understand client needs and preferences.

Skills

• Proficient in hair styling techniques with a solid understanding of cosmetology principles.
• Experience with barbering practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales strategies.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Familiarity with eyelash extensions is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
