JJ Salon is a calm, chic, quiet-luxury salon at 766 Madison Avenue, 3rd floor, on the Upper East Side. We've been serving a discerning neighborhood clientele since 2015. We're looking for ambitious, talented, up-and-coming stylists who are ready to grow their book in a great location with unimaginable room for growth and earning.
How it works
50/50 commission is our main arrangement.
Booth rental also available: $250/day, $200/day second chair, renters manage their own clients.
What to expect
Stylists here with an established clientele earn upwards of $1,000 a week, some much more, depending on their book. Earnings depend entirely on your own clientele and bookings. This is not a guaranteed wage.
Requirements
NY State cosmetology license (required)
An established clientele you will bring with you (required, since our arrangements are built for stylists with their own book)
Strong cutting skills. Color and/or extension experience is a plus.
A polished, warm client manner that suits a quiet-luxury salon
Reliable, motivated and eager to grow
Menu prices for reference: Men's cut $80–$100. Women's cut and blow-dry $150.
