Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hair color services, including color formulation, dimensional color, highlights, balayage, and color corrections as appropriate to your expertise.
• Deliver expert haircutting services for a variety of hair types, textures, and styles.
• Create polished event and special-occasion hairstyles, including blowouts, updos, and formal styling.
• Conduct thoughtful consultations to understand client goals, recommend services, and set realistic expectations.
• Build long-term client relationships through attentive service, professionalism, and consistent results.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation and follow salon standards.
• Collaborate positively with fellow stylists and support a welcoming, team-oriented salon environment.
• Continue developing your skills and staying current with industry trends, techniques, and products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional hairstyling experience.
• Advanced skills in hair coloring and haircutting, with a strong portfolio of work.
• Experience with event styling and special-occasion hair.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong consultation skills and the ability to understand and deliver on client expectations.
• Professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to a high standard of work.
• A collaborative attitude and pride in contributing to a positive salon culture.
• Current New York State cosmetology license.
