Hairstylist/Cosmetologist
Bring creativity and care to every appointment as a Hairstylist/Cosmetologist. You'll consult with clients, recommend services, and deliver personalized hair and beauty care. Your impact: Thoughtful consultations and skilled services help clients feel confident and leave with care suited to their needs.Duties
- Provide hair styling, cutting, coloring, and hair care services; apply color theory and use tools when appropriate.
- Build lasting client relationships through clear client communication, attentive customer service, and relevant product recommendations or upselling.
- Support retail sales, front desk tasks, salon software, and booking or client records; familiarity with MINDBODY is useful.
- Maintain sanitation standards, assist with store management, and mentor colleagues when appropriate.
Experience
- Experience working in the beauty industry and a background in cosmetology are valued; barbering experience is also welcome.
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach are essential.
- Hair coloring, hair styling, and hair care skills are important; experience with extensions or other listed beauty services is a plus.
- Retail math, retail sales, salon software, and front desk experience are helpful, not required.
- Follow applicable sanitation practices and demonstrate professionalism in every client interaction.
