• Communicate clearly with clients to understand their desired looks and provide personalized recommendations based on color theory and current trends
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointment flow, and supporting store management when needed

Skills

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with strong skills in hair styling, coloring, and cutting techniques
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management
• Expertise in hair care products, hair extensions, makeup application, nail care, and retail sales strategies including upselling techniques
• Proficiency in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Excellent communication skills for client consultation, team collaboration, and mentoring junior staff members
• Ability to perform barbering services using straight razors when required
• Familiarity with store management tasks such as inventory control, retail math calculations, and front desk operations
