We have an open chair to rent at our beautiful salon. We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair styling services while creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in hair care, makeup application, and retail sales, contributing to the overall success of our salon.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations.
• Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions efficiently.
• Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Assist clients with makeup application and provide advice on hair care products.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, nail care, and eyelash extensions to offer innovative services.
• Foster a positive atmosphere within the salon by collaborating with team members and ensuring excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and treatments.
• Experience with makeup application is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their needs.
• Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management is a plus.
• Ability to perform retail math for product sales and inventory management.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices in a salon environment is essential.
• Experience in upselling services or products is advantageous but not required.
