Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling, including hair extensions, threading, and eyelash extensions.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace according to health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients' requests and offering professional advice.
• Assist in retail sales by recommending products that align with clients' hair care needs.
• Utilize MINDBODY software for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon atmosphere.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role is preferred.
• Valid cosmetology license required.
• Strong skills in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and treatment applications.
• Familiarity with retail math and sales strategies to effectively promote products.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Experience with hair extensions, threading, or eyelash extensions is a plus.
