Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming services using industry best practices
• Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, threading, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon policies
• Receive online Google calls from the salon landline and get immediate customers
• Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and upselling additional services to maximize client experience
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired look and provide personalized recommendations
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques on hair styling, barbering, and customer service excellence

Skills

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hair styling and barbering work
• Interest and skills in knowing about locs, loc styles, and natural hair to make every customer feel comfortable in their skin
• Skilled in various hair techniques including coloring, cutting, styling, hair extensions, and hair threading
• Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
• Expertise in cosmetology or barbering licenses as required by local regulations
• Strong understanding of color theory for effective hair coloring results
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and understanding their needs
• Experience with store management tasks including inventory control and customer service excellence
• Passionate about hair care products, trends, and continuous learning in the beauty industry
