Hair Stylist

As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills in various hair treatments, including cuts, colors, foiling, and styling. Commission, hourly, and rental space available. Flexible hours! Also looking for a receptionist for Wednesday and Friday. Serious applicants only please.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to clients based on their preferences and current trends.
• Perform additional beauty services, including eyelash extensions and makeup application, to enhance client satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and inventory tracking.
• Educate clients on hair care products and techniques while effectively upselling.
• Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
• Manage salon operations effectively by applying retail math for inventory management.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license or certification from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Familiarity with salon software and retail practices is preferred.
• Skills in eyelash extensions, makeup application, and color theory are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating leadership qualities through mentoring.
