Debonair NYC is a luxury men's grooming lounge located in Midtown East, Manhattan. We're looking for a talented and passionate Men's Hair Stylist or Barber to join our team. If you're committed to exceptional craftsmanship and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-end, and dynamic environment, we'd love to meet you!

Our salon specializes in modern men's grooming, combining precision cutting, luxury service, and elevated hospitality. We foster a collaborative environment where education, creativity, and professionalism are at the core of everything we do.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough client consultations to understand individual needs and create personalized experiences.
• Provide a variety of men's grooming services including haircuts and styling, clipper and fade work, beard shaping and detailing, and straight razor/hot towel shaves.
• Educate clients on styling techniques and recommend professional products that best suit their hair and lifestyle.
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and continuing education.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation, as well as assisting with salon duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Cosmetology or Barber License.
• Strong foundation working with different lengths and textures.
• Experience with hair coloring (preferred, but not required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, reliable, and motivated to grow within a luxury salon environment.
• Retail confidence and the ability to educate clients on professional products.
