Men's Hair Stylist at Debonair NYC

Duties

• Perform a variety of hair services including client consultation, hair cutting (all hair types), styling, coloring, and beards/hot shaves.
• If further education is needed, we offer training and will focus on scissor haircuts at Debonair NYC.
• Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and preferences.
• Offer professional advice and recommendations on hair care and styling products.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station.
• Assist with salon duties as needed.

Skills

• Valid New York State cosmetology/barber license.
• Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques, including barbering and longer length men's hairstyles.
• Experience with hair color theory (bonus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of retail for product education to clients and sales.
