Hair Stylist

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in cosmetology and barbering, with expertise in various hair styling techniques. Responsibilities

• Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
• Utilize knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
• Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and salon policies.
• Use salon software such as SQUARE for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Assist with front desk duties, including greeting clients and managing retail sales.
• Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on best practices in hair care and styling.
• Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of retail math for effective sales management.
• Ability to perform straight razor techniques safely and effectively (if Barber).
• Previous experience in store management or mentoring is preferred but not required.
• A passion for customer service and creating positive client experiences.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with industry trends.
