Responsibilities

Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and salon policies.
Use salon software such as SQUARE for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Assist with front desk duties, including greeting clients and managing retail sales.
Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on best practices in hair care and styling.
Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions.

Requirements

Valid cosmetology or barbering license.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Knowledge of retail math for effective sales management.
Ability to perform straight razor techniques safely and effectively (if Barber).
Previous experience in store management or mentoring is preferred but not required.
A passion for customer service and creating positive client experiences.
Willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with industry trends.
