Job Description

The Team is a powerhouse collective of colorists, stylists and technicians in a private oasis on Fifth Ave in Flatiron NYC. Founded in 2022 by one of the most sought-after colorists in NYC, Michelle Hong. Previously owned Brush NYC in Flatiron as well as being a top colorist and educator at Frederic Fekkai.

We provide training to become a highly skilled and successful colorist/stylist from within the salon. Work amongst technicians that have amazing techniques to bring your skills to the next level.

Requirements

• Must have your NYC Cosmetology License (temporary license is accepted)
• Desire to learn and grow, with passion for education & growth, and driven to continuously improve and an eagerness to learn new skills and techniques
• Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment
• Strong multi-tasking, active listening and communication skills
• Salon experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Shampoo and blow-drying clients
• Assist with retail sales, recommending and selling hair care products to clients
• Upsell additional services to clients, such as hair treatments
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction from start to finish
• Salon cleaning duties
