Hair Salon Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Hair Salon Assistant to support our stylists and help maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional salon environment. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Duties

• Wash and rinse clients' hair following salon standards
• Assist with blow-drying and basic styling as needed
• Keep the salon clean and organized, including sweeping hair and tidying stations
• Clean and disinfect brushes, combs, tools and equipment
• Wash, dry and fold towels and capes
• Restock supplies, including products and back-bar items
• Greet clients and help ensure they feel comfortable and well cared for
• Support stylists with additional tasks as required

Qualifications

• Valid beauty or cosmetology license REQUIRED (apprentice license acceptable if applicable)
• Prior salon experience preferred but not required - training will be provided
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift/carry up to 20lbs

Compensation and Work Location

Pay: $700.00 - $1,300.00 per week
