Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant at Ziggy Artistry
As a Front Desk Receptionist at Ziggy Artistry, you will serve as the face of our luxury salon and play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This position requires professionalism, leadership, and exceptional customer service, with responsibility for managing front-of-house operations, supporting team workflow, and maintaining the elevated standards that define the Ziggy Artistry experience.The ideal candidate is organized, confident, and service-driven, with strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, high-end salon environment.
Client Experience & Front Desk Operations
- Greet and welcome clients with warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness.
- Ensure clients feel comfortable, valued, and well cared for throughout their visit.
- Manage client check-ins, assist with coats and personal items, and offer beverages.
- Maintain a polished, professional front desk presence aligned with luxury salon standards.
Scheduling, Communication & Administrative Oversight
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling with accuracy.
- Serve as a central point of communication between clients, stylists, and technicians.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Address and resolve minor client concerns with discretion and professionalism.
Leadership & Team Coordination
- Help oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and strong work ethic.
- Support team efficiency by prioritizing tasks and managing front desk flow.
- Assist with onboarding and training of front desk staff as needed.
- Communicate operational updates, concerns, or client feedback to salon leadership.
Stylist & Operations Support
- Coordinate client flow to ensure timely transitions between appointments.
- Support stylists and technicians by managing schedules and client readiness.
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures when assigned.
Salon Organization & Presentation
- Ensure the front desk, waiting area, and common spaces remain immaculate and inviting.
- Maintain a refined waiting area with refreshments, magazines, and a relaxed atmosphere.
- Monitor and restock front desk and hospitality supplies as needed.
Operational Support
- Assist with inventory tracking and basic administrative tasks.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support salon operations and business success.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities or interest in growing into a management role.
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Passion for beauty, hospitality, and delivering elevated client experiences.
- Prior front desk, hospitality, or leadership experience preferred.
