Dental Front Desk Receptionist at All Smiles Dental Spa
All Smiles Dental Spa is seeking an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is professional, organized, and knowledgeable in all aspects of dental front office operations, especially dental insurance and treatment coordination.Responsibilities
- Greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and questions.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments efficiently.
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and accurately explain patient benefits and coverage.
- Present treatment plans and discuss estimated patient financial responsibilities.
- Understand and interpret PPO dental benefits, frequencies, limitations, downgrades, and exclusions.
- Review and understand dental fee schedules to ensure accurate treatment estimates.
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims as needed.
- Collect patient payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain patient charts and documentation in Dentrix.
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of dental front desk experience is required.
- Extensive knowledge of dental insurance, including PPO plans, benefits, fee schedules, deductibles, annual maximums, waiting periods, frequencies, and coordination of benefits.
- Ability to accurately verify insurance eligibility and explain benefits to patients with confidence.
- Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements.
- Dentrix experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and ADA procedure codes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
