Front Desk & Operations Coordinator at VaZa Salon
Our Front Desk & Operations Coordinator is much more than a receptionist. This role is the hub of the salon, helping ensure the day runs smoothly for both our clients and team. From managing appointments and client flow to supporting retail sales, inventory, invoices, and daily operations, you'll play an essential role in the success of the business.We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
We are especially interested in candidates with retail, hospitality, or customer-facing sales experience who are comfortable building relationships, making recommendations, and creating exceptional experiences for guests.
This is not a seasonal or summer position. We are seeking someone looking for a long-term opportunity who wants to grow with our company.
As VaZa Salon continues to expand, there may be opportunities for advancement based on performance, business needs, and demonstrated leadership.
What You'll Do
- Welcome clients and create a warm, professional first impression
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and client flow
- Coordinate stylist schedules and help keep the day running efficiently
- Handle point-of-sale transactions and support retail sales
- Educate clients on retail products and make personalized recommendations
- Receive, enter, and organize invoices
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure retail displays remain stocked and presentable
- Maintain a clean, polished, and welcoming front desk environment
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Help resolve client concerns professionally and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with service providers and leadership
- Support salon operations and contribute to an outstanding client experience
- Take initiative to identify and solve problems before they become issues
What We're Looking For
- Retail sales, hospitality, customer service, administrative, or front desk experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning booking software, POS systems, and other technology
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Salon experience is a plus, but not required
College students are welcome to apply if they can commit to year-round employment.
