Esthetician/Wax Specialist at Hair Removal Shop

We are seeking a skilled and professional esthetician to join our hair removal shop. The esthetician will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients seeking various hair removal treatments. In addition to performing aesthetic services, the esthetician will also handle receptionist tasks and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized environment within the shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair removal treatments using the Sugaring method. Perform other aesthetic services such as: V-facials, lash lifts, lash tints, brow laminations, brow tints and extractions.
• Ensure client satisfaction: Provide excellent customer service by addressing clients' concerns, answering their queries, and ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience during hair removal sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness: Clean and disinfect treatment rooms before and after each client appointment, ensuring a hygienic environment for all procedures.
• Receptionist duties: Greet clients upon arrival, check them in, and assist with filling out necessary forms or consent documents. Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and manage client inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Upsell products and services: Recommend appropriate aftercare products and additional services to clients to enhance their overall experience and achieve long-term hair removal goals.
• Handle financial transactions: Collect payments, process credit or debit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Stock and organize supplies: Ensure treatment rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies, such as sugaring materials, towels, gloves, and aftercare products.
• Maintain equipment: Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and machines regularly to guarantee optimal performance and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the team: Work closely with other estheticians and receptionists to ensure smooth operations, share knowledge, and provide support as needed.
• Shop maintenance: Sweep and tidy the shop at the end of each shift, ensuring it is presentable and ready for the next day's operations.

Requirements

• Esthetician/Cosmetology/Waxing certification: Possess a valid esthetician/cosmetologist/waxing license from a recognized institution or governing body.
• Proven experience: Have at least 1 year of experience working as an esthetician, preferably specializing in hair removal treatments.
• Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to actively listen to clients' needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Customer-oriented approach: Prioritize exceptional customer service, ensuring clients' comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Attention to detail: Pay close attention to hygiene standards, maintaining a clean space and satisfactory performance on clients.
