Lumi Aesthetics has been providing exceptional patient care for over a decade in the heart of Quincy Center. As an esthetician, you will play a vital role in providing safe, effective treatments that enhance our clients' confidence and well-being. We are looking for a highly skilled esthetician who prides themselves in creating a welcoming environment where our clients feel valued and cared for.

Duties

• Perform skin treatments such as facials, dermaplaning, skin care recommendations with opportunity to grow into other treatments.
• Active participant in creating care plans with nurse and other care team members.
• Conduct consultations to explain procedures, answer questions, and set realistic expectations for results.
• Maintain strict sanitation and safety protocols throughout all treatments to ensure client safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Educate clients on post-treatment care instructions to optimize results and minimize risks.
• Document each treatment session accurately for each patient interaction using computer documentation software.
• At times may be required to help manage appointment scheduling and check out using Boulevard.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in treatments through ongoing training.

Requirements

• Maintain an up-to-date esthetician license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as an esthetician.
• Strong understanding of skin anatomy, skin conditions, and contraindications for skin treatments.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clientele.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety in all treatments.
