Join our team at Philip Edward Salon and Spa! We are seeking an experienced and passionate dual-licensed Massage Therapist and Aesthetician to join our growing luxury spa. Located in the heart of Charlestown, our newly renovated spa features spacious treatment rooms and state-of-the-art equipment designed to deliver an elevated experience for both guests and providers.

We are an iS Clinical Authorized Partner, utilizing advanced clinical-grade products in both treatment and retail. Our focus is delivering results-driven skincare alongside deeply relaxing, therapeutic bodywork—creating a full luxury wellness experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client consultations and assessments to determine individual skincare and bodywork needs
• Perform a full range of massage services including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports/Therapeutic Massage
• Implement advanced massage techniques including trigger point therapy and pain management strategies
• Perform professional skincare treatments including customized facials, chemical peels, microneedling, and dermaplaning
• Deliver both results-driven treatments and deeply relaxing experiences simultaneously
• Recommend and educate clients on home care and retail products (iS Clinical + others)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully sanitized treatment environment
• Ensure all equipment is properly prepared and ready for use
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment plans, progress, and adjustments
• Stay current on advancements in both massage therapy and skincare techniques
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a luxury-level client experience
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to client retention and growth

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Massachusetts Massage Therapy License
• Valid Massachusetts Aesthetician License
• Minimum 2–3+ years experience in a spa, clinical, or med spa setting preferred
• Experience with clinical skincare brands (iS Clinical, SkinMedica, etc.) strongly preferred
• Familiarity with med spa and wellness environments
• Ability to deliver visible skin results while maintaining a relaxing client experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on client satisfaction and retention
• Passion for wellness, skincare, and continued education
