We pay our team by either commission plus tips, or chair rentals. This is an in-person conversation/decision between you and the owner.

Our Barbers & Hair Stylists typically average $25–$50 per hour to start. Commission compensation is based upon your licensing and experience. Rental prices are discussed in person.

You will work with existing clientele with plenty of walk-in guests to build your client base quickly. Continuing to build your own clientele will improve your position in the shop.

We have two locations with availability for you to set up shop:

• Pratt Street, in the historical downtown business area of Hartford.
• Morgan Farms Drive, in the suburb area of South Windsor. This location has huge potential for someone who wants to grow their personal business and prefers a quieter setting in a beautiful area.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities are optional and based on chair rentals vs. commission, skill set, experience, and level of comfort. All services are ongoing decisions that are made as you feel confident as a Barber or Hair Stylist.

We welcome new and different types of services. These always need to be discussed with the owner to ensure the shop can safely and legally support them. We highly encourage you to have your own specialties, strengths, and differences.

• Hair Styling: 1 year (Preferred)
• Barbering License (Preferred)
• Cosmetology License (Preferred)
