At Beautiology, a Beauty Therapist is more than someone who performs facials. You’ll become a trusted guide in each client’s skincare journey, combining technical skill, thoughtful education, exceptional service, and genuine connection to help clients achieve healthier, more confident skin.

Beautiology Studio & Spa is a luxury skincare studio in Mineola, NY, specializing in personalized, results-driven care for a diverse clientele, with particular expertise in multicultural and melanin-rich skin. Our philosophy, Science Meets Soul Care, brings together corrective skincare, restorative rituals, and an elevated client experience.

What You’ll Do

• Perform customized facials and advanced esthetic treatments within your training, licensure, and Beautiology protocols

• Assess clients’ skin, concerns, goals, and progress to help guide appropriate treatment and homecare recommendations

• Educate clients confidently about skincare, professional treatments, and consistent homecare

• Build strong client relationships that support retention, rebooking, treatment plans, and long-term skin health

• Recommend and sell professional skincare products based on individual client needs

• Maintain detailed client notes, treatment rooms, sanitation standards, and an elevated presentation throughout the studio

• Participate in ongoing education, hands-on training, team meetings, events, content creation, and studio initiatives

• Contribute to the overall client experience and support the studio as part of a collaborative team

You’ll Thrive Here If You

• Hold a current New York State Esthetics License

• Have at least 1–2 years of professional, hands-on facial experience in a spa, skincare studio, or similar treatment environment

• Have pursued continuing education beyond esthetics school; additional education in advanced or corrective skincare is strongly preferred

• Bring a solid esthetics foundation while remaining coachable, open to feedback, and eager to learn Beautiology’s treatment philosophy and standards

• Are passionate about skin health and interested in corrective and results-driven esthetics

• Are comfortable treating a wide range of skin tones and committed to continually expanding your knowledge of multicultural skin

• Enjoy educating clients and confidently recommending homecare rather than simply performing a service

• Have strong communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and emotional intelligence

• Take initiative and understand that building a clientele requires consistency, relationship-building, rebooking, retail confidence, and personal accountability

• Want to grow within a team and an established brand, not simply rent a treatment room

• Are willing to commit to growing with Beautiology for at least one year

An existing clientele or established client relationships are a plus, but not required.

Growth at Beautiology

We’re building Beautiology for the long term, and we want team members who see room to grow with us. Beauty Therapists receive education and hands-on development in Beautiology’s treatment philosophy, client experience, product knowledge, consultation, retail, and business-building standards.

This position offers hourly compensation plus commission, in-house continuing education, growth and development systems, marketing support, and paid time off based on eligibility and tenure.
