Job Description

Street Salon has two high visibility locations. Great customer base with lots of exposure. Join our small shop. We offer a relaxed atmosphere and ability to be creative. The customer base is made up of students, professionals, tourists, and local residents of the Back Bay.

Responsibilities

Hair Stylists with good customer service skills and technical skills
Blow Dry service professionals encouraged to apply - looking for early morning shifts
Perform styles and designs according to client preferences, coloring, etc.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
Educate clients on proper care and recommend appropriate products
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Looking for long term commitment and to build strong client relationships
Comfortable to take on additional tasks in daily operations of a salon

Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber
Will consider recent cosmetology or barber graduate
Knowledge of additional beauty services such as hair extensions, straight razor shaving, eyelash extensions, makeup application, etc. is a bonus
Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
