Wax Specialist / Esthetician / Cosmetologist

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of waxing services including body waxing and facial waxing with precision and care.
• Deliver professional skincare treatments such as facials and Vagacials to meet individual client needs.
• Conduct skin analysis and recommend suitable skincare routines or products to optimize results.
• Maintain strict sanitation procedures and adhere to health regulations to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are upheld.
• Utilize salon software systems like FRESHA or Vagaro for appointment scheduling, client management, and sales transactions.
• Engage with clients through effective communication to understand their goals, explain treatment options, and promote retail skincare products.
• Stay current on industry trends and new treatments to continually enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid license or certification as an esthetician, cosmetologist, or related beauty professional with experience working in the beauty industry.
• Proficiency in performing waxing services (including body waxing), facials, tinting services, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, dermabrasion, laser hair removal, aesthetic laser treatments, and skin rejuvenation procedures.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards essential for maintaining a clean work environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Experience using salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and sales processing.
• Ability to perform hair threading techniques accurately and efficiently.
• Sales skills for retail product recommendations that align with client needs.
