Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with salon policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and offering professional advice.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist with their development in hair styling techniques and customer interactions.
• Engage in retail sales by upselling products that complement the services provided.
• Stay updated on current trends in hairstyling, makeup application, nail care, and other beauty services.
• Handle front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing appointment bookings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in barbering techniques such as straight razor cuts and hair threading.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
• Strong knowledge of color theory and various hair styling techniques.
• Experience with hair extensions application is preferred.
• Familiarity with salon software systems like MINDBODY is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Experience in retail sales and understanding of retail math is advantageous.
• Skills in makeup application, eyelash extensions, nail care, and sanitation practices are desirable.
