Studio & Communications Manager at Blue Lotus Healing Arts

Blue Lotus Healing Arts is a women-owned, small multi-disciplinary center offering acupuncture, yoga, massage, and more. Located in the center of Needham, we strive to create a sense of community where people can come to exercise, meditate, relax, and heal. Our teachers and practitioners are passionate about what they do and help to create a welcoming studio environment.

Studio Operations

• Manage Mindbody (the office software), including class scheduling, promotions, student accounts, and teacher onboarding.
• Coordinate instructor schedules and substitute coverage.
• Support client inquiries regarding promotions, passes, and their accounts.
• Work closely with each staff member to help them organize two or more workshops every year.
• Coordinate and support staff members on promoting their classes and services while maintaining the studio policies.

Communications

• Promote classes, services, workshops, and special offerings.
• Manage social media accounts and craft content for Facebook and Instagram.
• Create content related to yoga, massage therapy, energy healing, and 5 Element Acupuncture.
• Create and schedule email newsletters weekly.
• Update studio website.
• Assist with events, workshops, and community partnerships.
• Maintain regular communication with all staff.
• Respond promptly to all customer or potential customer emails.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with social media platforms, email marketing tools, Canva, and website management platforms such as Wix.
• Experience with Mindbody or similar studio management software preferred.
• Interest in wellness, yoga, massage, acupuncture, or holistic health is a plus.
