Your Impact as Salon Manager

You'll serve as the leader of the salon floor, ensuring smooth operations, strong team performance, and a consistently exceptional client experience.

Lead the Team

• Run daily team huddles to align goals and energize the team
• Train, mentor, and coach stylists and assistants
• Set clear expectations and reinforce Moxie standards and culture
• Foster a positive, high-performance environment

Drive Salon Performance

• Monitor sales goals, KPIs, membership growth, and team productivity
• Help implement strategies that increase service revenue and client retention
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management

Maintain Operational Excellence

• Ensure the salon is clean, organized, and running efficiently
• Manage inventory, supplies, and daily operations
• Communicate regularly with ownership regarding performance and opportunities for growth

Deliver Exceptional Client Service

• Provide premium services including cuts, color, balayage, keratin treatments, styling, and extensions
• Conduct thorough consultations and ensure clients receive a true Moxie experience
• Support complex services and mentor stylists when needed

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Valid New York Cosmetology License (Required)
• 5+ years of professional salon experience (Required)
• Prior leadership experience (assistant manager, shift lead, educator, or similar role)
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• A solutions-oriented mindset with high standards and accountability
• Confidence with POS and scheduling systems
• Passion for delivering exceptional client experiences
• Ability to commute to Scarsdale, NY 10583 (Required)
