Blo is the industry leader, with over 100 North American locations and growing. We are seeking a Salon Receptionist to join our team in Burlington, MA.

As the first and last impression for our guests, you will be a Blo brand ambassador. You are professional, friendly, tactful, and know how to diffuse a tense situation and turn a good experience into a great one. In fact, you thrive on this!

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a superior guest experience
• Manage appointment calendar, optimizing schedule and maximizing bookings
• Discuss and sell hair packages/memberships and beauty products
• Support a team of hair stylists and beauty technicians
• Maintain a professional, clean, fun and respectful work environment
• Assist stylists on busy days by washing clients' hair
• Keep track of bar inventory and stock beverages
• Follow opening and closing procedures

Requirements

• Ability to work weekends (Fridays and Saturdays) and be flexible with scheduling
• Passion for the beauty and cosmetology industry
• Strong technical skills and experience using a Mac computer
• Salon experience is an asset
