Salon Receptionist at Salon V

Salon V is a well-established salon with over 15 years of experience in the heart of Greenwich Village, NYC. We're currently seeking a friendly and motivated professional to join us as a Salon Receptionist. Our salon hours are 11am - 9pm and we are looking to fill 3 days: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and ensure a top-tier customer experience
• Answer phone calls, emails, and manage bookings with professionalism
• Organize and maintain stylist schedules and appointments
• Assist with daily salon operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Support the team with light cleaning and hospitality tasks, including keeping the front desk reception area clean and tidy, and sweeping stations

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Prior customer service experience (salon/spa setting preferred)
• Ability to work on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays from 11am - 9pm
• Comfortable with POS systems and handling cash/card transactions

Preferred

• Licensed cosmetologist or currently enrolled in cosmetology school
